Red Bull Family

Auch hier in Florida hat sich eine kleine, internationale Red Bull Family gefunden. Kari Castle aus Bishop, USA, dreifache Weltmeisterin, ist schon oft in Florida den Quest-Wettbewerb geflogen und kennt sich gut aus. In ihrem besten Durchgang ist sie sogar 2. in der Gesamtwertung der weltbesten Piloten gewesen! www.karicastle.com
Der Schweizer Steve Cox fliegt auch schon seit langen Jahren mit den Bullen auf seinem Gleitschirmsegel. Sein größter fliegerischer Erfolg bisher: Der Gewinn der Weltmeisterschaft 2005! Ein großer Schritt, jetzt in der Swift-Klasse mit einem total anderen Fluggerät anzutreten. Aber da Gleitschirmflieger meist die sensibleren Drachenflieger sind, glaube ich, daß Steve auch mit dem eleganten Swift ganz vorne mit dabeisein kann.


We are a small, international Red Bull Family here in Florida. Kari Castle from Bishop, USA, already has 3 Worldchampion titles. She often flew the Quest-competition over here and knows how to race: in her best task she finished 2nd overall in the overall scores, competing against some of the best pilots of the world!
Steve Cox from Switzerland also has competed for many years with the bulls on the sail of his paraglider. His greatest success so far: He won last years Paragliding World Championships! What a big step to now compete in Swift class and fly with a completely different aircraft. But since paraglider pilots are the more sensitive hanggliding pilots, Im sure he will excell with the elegant Swift as well.
